DJ & Nada came to us from Michigan. After living their entire lives in small cages inside a pole barn, their fate changed when local authorities found them. (A frightened DJ his first day at WCH) DJ is a sweet, gentle cat who is a true joy to be around. Despite living with severe arthritis caused from the neglect he endured, he continues to amaze us with his joy of life and his love for Nada. His world revolves around her and we are so thankful they have each other.	At first we worried whether or not they would relax and learn to trust us, but I'm happy to say both DJ & Nada are enjoying life and feel safe. (A much happier & relaxed DJ)
(Nada relaxes on a warm summer day) DJ & Nada remind us every day how important it is to continue the work that we do, rescuing these precious animals who deserve so much more than the life they were born to. Nada is a beautiful girl who knows she's the queen and expects to be treated as such :) With DJ and their neighbor, Kennewick, (who also adores her) keeping a close and adoring eye on her, she enjoys the attention and tries not to let it go to her head :)
