Cleo was purchased in Oregon when she was four weeks old. In their attempt to make her a “pet”, the owners had her tendons severed so she couldn’t use her claws. They also fed her domestic cat food and kept her in the garage. When a nasty break-up between the owners happened, Cleo came to us for safe haven.
She and Bobby, a three-legged bobcat, live together, and they adore each other. Cleo is very protective of Bobby, and he relies on her for comfort and companionship. It’s truly a match made in heaven, and we couldn’t be more pleased for these two very special wildcats.
