Simba lived his first five years in a windowless garage. Bought from a breeder in Montana, he was a “pet” to a family with three young children. He lived in their home until he got older and started acting like a bobcat. He was moved to the garage with little interaction and enrichment. When the family sold their house to move closer to work, we were contacted. This is a story we hear all too often.
He had a bit of trouble adjusting at first. Having always lived on concrete, he was unsure with his new enclosure complete with threes and grass. But, he soon realized just how good it felt! He shares a pen with three other bobcats, and he loves his friends and his life outside.
