Tashi was purchased as a kitten from Minnesota. When she outgrew her kitten stage, her owners put her in a 3 foot by 4 foot cage in a basement. She lived there for the next three years of her life.
When she came to WildCat Haven, she was thin, covered in fleas, and had an upper respiratory infection. But that was not the worst of it. From living in a crate for so long, she walked hunched over and, even in her large enclosure, paced in a small area, just as she had done for years. It took her months, but she eventually learned to walk normally and hasn’t looked back! She shares an enclosure with BooBoo, another bobcat, and the two of them are inseparable.
