Coquille (Cookie) and her brother, Noki, came to us from a woman in Oregon who bought them at an animal auction in Iowa. When she realized just how much work it was to care for them, she contacted us. We were happy to take them both.
They lived together for two years before Noki suddenly and tragically passed away. Today Cookie lives with Nyssa, another cougar rescue, and seems to be doing fine. She is a sweet girl who always has a chirp for us and a purr. We’re sure she misses Noki as much as we do, but, just like us, she takes life one day at a time.
