Bella, a Canadian Lynx, as the first cat to come to us from a fur farm. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and was one of over 30 kittens born that season. Sadly, fur farms still prosper in both Canada and the United States. It is unimaginable to us that this incredible animal and others like her are raised to be killed for fur.
Bella has grown into a beautiful girl who is shy with us but loves Josie and BoBo, the bobcats she lives with. We are so pleased to be able to give her the kind of home where she can thrive and live a full and happy life. While we know we can’t save them all, Bella shows us every day how important it is to make a difference, even if it is one rescue at a time.
