Casper was owned by a woman who said he was a bobcat-lynx hybrid. When she lost her home, a friend of her family contacted us hoping we could take him. The friend had always been concerned about his living conditions and knew he deserved better.
Casper is a very shy cat who took some time to warm up to his companions – Howie, a special needs bobcat, and Sheba, another bobcat rescue. But he now plays and naps with them both! He is still distrustful of us. But we give him his space, and he has become quite comfortable at the sanctuary.
